2X Blitz Plus Mastermix is a ready-to-use mixture for high-fidelity PCR with enhanced inhibitor tolerance. The master mix contains all necessary components, including a thermostable DNA polymerase, dNTPs, and an optimized buffer. The enzyme is a hot-start chimeric protein consisting of Pfu polymerase and an SSO7d DNA-binding domain. This domain stabilizes the polymerase-template complex, increasing processivity, synthesis rate, fidelity, and stability under high ionic strength conditions. The hot-start modification significantly enhances the sensitivity and specificity of the assay. The master mix features an accelerated synthesis rate (up to 3 000 bp/min) and is capable of amplifying DNA fragments exceeding 10 000 bp.
