Description

Fast Probe U Lyo qPCR Mastermix is a universal, ready-to-use reagent for quantitative and/or qualitative PCR with real-time detection. The mastermix is optimized for DNA/LNA dual-labeled fluorescent probes. Supplied in lyophilized form. The mastermix contains a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, which is activated automatically during the initial DNA denaturation step. This prevents the extension of non-specifically annealed primers and the formation of primer-dimers at low temperatures during qPCR setup. Special additives increase its resistance to common PCR inhibitors. Presence of uracil-DNA-glycosylase and dUTP helps to prevent carryover contamination. The mastermix provides reproducible results with high sensitivity, enabling the detection of single copies of a DNA target.
