Fast Probe Lyo qPCR Mastermix is a universal, ready-to-use reagent for quantitative and/or qualitative PCR with real-time detection. The mastermix is optimized for DNA/LNA dual-labeled fluorescent probes. Supplied in lyophilized form. The mastermix contains a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, which is activated automatically during the initial DNA denaturation step. This prevents the extension of non-specifically annealed primers and the formation of primer-dimers at low temperatures during qPCR setup. Special additives increase its resistance to common PCR inhibitors. The mastermix provides reproducible results with high sensitivity, enabling the detection of single copies of a DNA target.
