KleverTest Clostridium perfringens DiTox PCR Kit is designed for the fast qualitative detection and differentiation of enterotoxin-encoding genes in Clostridium perfringens isolates. The kit enables rapid genetic characterization of C. perfringens pathotypes based on detection of key virulence markers: cpe (clostridial enterotoxin), cpb (beta-toxin), cpb2 (beta2-toxin). It enables the differential diagnosis of C. perfringens-mediated gastrointestinal tract infections by identifying the specific enterotoxin profile, thereby distinguishing between classical foodborne toxicoinfection, acute hemorrhagic diarrhea syndromes, and antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
