5X Fast Probe R qPCR Mastermix

Description

5X Fast Probe R qPCR Mastermix is a universal, ready-to-use reagent for quantitative and/or qualitative PCR with real-time detection. The mastermix is optimized for DNA/LNA dual-labeled fluorescent probes.
The mastermix contains a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, which is activated automatically during the initial DNA denaturation step. This prevents the extension of non-specifically annealed primers and the formation of primer-dimers at low temperatures during qPCR setup. Special additives increase its resistance to common PCR inhibitors. The mastermix provides reproducible results with high sensitivity, enabling the detection of single copies of a DNA target.
The mastermix is supplied with ROX reference dye. The final concentration in the reaction mixture is 0.5 µM (High ROX) or 0.05 µM (Low ROX), depending on the qPCR instrument. The dye does not take part in the PCR reaction but is used to normalize the fluorescent signal, correcting for non-PCR-related variations and providing a stable baseline for data analysis.
