Description
2X Fast Dye HR qPCR Mastermix is a universal, ready-to-use reagent for quantitative and/or qualitative PCR with with intercalating dye. The mastermix also contain ROX reference dye with final concentration in reaction mixture is 0.5 μM (High ROX).
The mastermix contains a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, which is activated automatically during the initial DNA denaturation step. This prevents the extension of non-specifically annealed primers and the formation of primer-dimers at low temperatures during qPCR setup. Special additives increase its resistance to common PCR inhibitors. The mastermix provides reproducible results with high sensitivity, enabling the detection of single copies of a DNA target. The ROX referense dye does not take part in the PCR reaction but allows to normalize for non-PCR related signal variation and provides a baseline in multiplex reactions.
