Description
The PuriVet Total DNA/RNA Isolation Kit based on magnetic beads and designed for the efficient isolation of total RNA and DNA from a wide range of veterinary sources. The kit is compatible with numerous sample types, including: muscle tissue homogenates; whole blood, plasma, and serum; fecal swabs; smears and swabs; saliva and urine; conjunctival discharge and cerebrospinal fluid; arthropods; water and feed/forage samples.
The purified, high-quality DNA/RNA is suitable for direct use in downstream molecular biology applications, such as PCR and RT-PCR.
The kit contains sufficient reagents for 100 isolations from 100 µl sample volumes. The purification protocol is fast and flexible. It can be performed manually (using a centrifuge or a magnetic rack for 1.5-2.0 ml tubes) or can be automated on open robotic platforms such as the Auto-Pure Mini, Auto-Pure 96/32, KingFisher Flex, Tecan Freedom EVO, or their analogues.
